9th Annual Global Trade Educational Conference

David Spooner attended the 9th Annual Global Trade Educational Conference at the Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where they participated in separate panels to over 225 attendees. David’s panel, “Textiles in the Western Hemisphere,” discussed the apparel rules in the United States’ Western Hemisphere trade agreements, focusing on the Central America-Dominican Republic FTA (CAFTA-DR). His panel explained the CAFTA-DR Agreement’s rules of origin, highlighting common importer mistakes and the differences between CAFTA and other regional trade agreements. The conference was hosted by the NCBFAA Educational Institute (NEI) and the firm was a sponsor.
