8th Annual ERISA Litigation Conference

Howard Kochell of the Indianapolis office was a panelist and speaker at the 8th Annual ERISA Litigation Conference held on Oct. 27 in New York City and sponsored by the American Conference Institute. His topic addressed litigation issues raised by efforts to reduce or eliminate retiree healthcare benefits and the anticipated decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in M&G Polymers USA LLC v. Tackett to resolve a split of authority among the circuit courts regarding those issues. The conference was well-attended by legal counsel from Fortune 500 companies. The substance of his speech was featured and quoted in the BNA Pension and Benefits Reporter on Nov. 4.
