David Ritter provided a comprehensive two-hour, in-person training session sponsored by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association at the NIU Rockford Conference Center in Rockford, Illinois. The presentation, “Employment Law Update: What Illinois Employers Need to Know,” discussed the progressive employment laws of Illinois, including those related to discrimination, non-compete agreements, equal pay, harassment training, scheduling of employees and more. Additionally, David provided updates on other pertinent topics, such as employee handbooks and cannabis use in the workplace.
