2023 MDL Bench-Bar Leadership Conference

Sarah Jin was a panelist at the 2023 MDL Bench-Bar Leadership Conference at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago. The conference brought together over 30 federal judges and over 100 plaintiff and defense attorneys to exchange insights about different case management practices in mass tort multidistrict litigations (MDLs). Sarah spoke on a panel about the appointment of law firms and attorneys to committees in mass tort MDLs and addressed trends regarding the size and number of committees, including the influence of diversity considerations and other factors on those appointments and their impact on litigation from a defense perspective.
