Patrick Miles spoke as part of a panel in connection with Opera Grand Rapids' world premiere performance of "Stinney: An American Execution." The panel discussed the intersection of racial justice, state and federal law, and the artistic representation of stories like George Stinney. Panelists included Michigan Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II, Dean Tracey Brame from Cooley Law School’s Innocence Project, Stinney Opera composer and co-librettist Frances Pollock, and Pat as the former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan.
