Innovation is the lifeblood of the bioscience industry. In Indiana, private companies are significant drivers and developers of new technologies. However, many privately developed technologies face the usual commercialization hurdles – no clear understanding of the market, lack of resources to fully develop the product, or discoveries that do not align with the parent company’s product offerings.
