Chicago Bar Association Environmental Committee Meeting

Ashley Parr of the Chicago office was the featured speaker at the June 4 meeting of the Chicago Bar Association Environmental Committee, which Barnes & Thornburg hosted at the Chicago office. Ashley discussed the circuit split regarding Clean Water Act jurisdiction over discharges via hydrologically-connected groundwater, which the U.S. Supreme Court will address in Cty. of Maui v. Hawaii Wildlife Fund later this year. Ashley is one of the Barnes & Thornburg attorneys representing the Federal Water Quality Coalition as amicus curiae in the Supreme Court case.
