Attorney Presentation - "Putting Intent Into Ohio's Employment Intentional Tort"

Bill Nolan of the Columbus office co-presented an Ohio State Bar Association webinar entitled "Putting Intent Into Ohio's Employment Intentional Tort," which focused on the long evolution of the Ohio statute that historically has allowed employees to bring an "intentional" tort for a workplace injury by showing employer conduct that amounts to gross negligence. Presenters took a close look at statutory and case law developments over the last decade that have resulted in the claim being available to many fewer plaintiffs.
