Attorney Presentation - "Avoidance Actions, Prefrence Claims and Fraudulent Transfer Claims"

David Powlen of the Delaware office participated on a panel at the Annual Utility Bankruptcy Conference that was held in Cleveland on Sept. 30. The panel addressed avoidance actions, including preference claims and fraudulent transfer claims, which can be instituted against creditors and other parties in connection with Chapter 11 cases. More than 50 utility companies from around the nation were represented at the conference.
