Highlights

USTR commences statutory four-year review of Section 301 tariffs on Chinese goods

Interested persons are invited to provide their comments about the continuation of the tariffs

All four lists of tariff actions and related modifications come under the scope of this review; and unless extension requested, those tariffs will expire on their four-year anniversary dates this July and August

Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 authorizes the president to take all appropriate action, not only tariff-based but also non-tariff-based retaliation, to address any unfair act, policy, or practice of a foreign government burdening United States commerce.
