BTSalaam is Barnes & Thornburg’s talent resource group spearheaded by our Muslim teammates aimed at educating, driving awareness and promoting meaningful relationships and understanding of the Muslim experience (both within the firm and beyond). All BT teammates are welcome (and indeed, encouraged) to join and participate.

Key Initiatives:

• Discussions and educational opportunities to bring awareness to Muslim faith, history, and identity — including panel conversations, lunch-and-learns, and firm-wide communications tied to significant moments in the Islamic calendar
• Celebrations of Muslim holidays and traditions, including Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha, through firm programming that invites all BT teammates to learn and participate
• Collaborative programming to promote inclusion and interfaith understanding, including partnerships with other BT talent resource groups to foster dialogue and shared community-building
