On May 18, Liz Peters of the Chicago office was a panelist for a discussion on alternative careers for those with advanced science degrees hosted by the Biology Department of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Liz was joined on the panel by corporate representatives, academics and UIC alumni, and spoke to the graduate students and faculty about intellectual property law and the advantages of and obstacles to pursuing a career in IP.
