Open Mic With Mike and Janilyn: Time To Take Off Our Masks?

We know employers want to keep their workforce and customers safe from COVID-19, but it isn’t always easy to understand how – especially when the Centers for Disease Control and other federal, state and local guidance changes. On May 13, the CDC made a dramatic change to its masking guidance. Recognizing this issue is likely front-of-mind for most employers, we decided to change our topic for this month’s “Open Mic With Mike and Janilyn.” Rather than discuss the independent contractor and minimum wage developments, we intend to focus our discussion on how the new masking guidance and vaccine developments impact the workplace.

These “Open Mic” sessions are brought to you by Barnes & Thornburg’s South Bend and Elkhart offices in partnership with Michiana SHRM and Michiana Human Resource Association, and they are meant to be interactive. So please come prepared to ask questions!
