International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)

On April 22, Brian McGinnis was a featured speaker at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) quarterly KnowledgeNet meeting. Brian, a member of the IAPP, presented on data privacy and cybersecurity legal issues related to "Big Data" and medical and health information privacy to a group of privacy professionals, which included privacy officers from Eli Lilly and Anthem and technology companies. The attending privacy professionals received continuing privacy education credit and also heard from Dr. Sarath Chandra Janga,vice president for data analytics of STBigData.
