New Attorneys Join Barnes & Thornburg in Chicago, Los Angeles

Barnes & Thornburg LLP has added new attorneys to the Environmental and Labor and Employment departments in its Chicago and Los Angeles offices. The new attorneys are:

Chicago 

  • Ashley E. Parr is an associate and member of the firm’s Environmental Department. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Parr served as an assistant general counsel for the Illinois Department of Human Services. She advised all programs in the department’s Family and Community Services Division on federal and state regulatory and compliance matters, government contracting, and administrative litigation. She also gained experience working on a wide range of enforcement cases involving various Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and Superfund matters as an extern for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Regional Counsel in Chicago.

Los Angeles

  • Evelina Shpolyansky is an associate and a member of the Labor and Employment Law Department. She focuses her practice on employment litigation and wage and hour disputes. Shpolyansky has experience in civil business litigation representing clients in state and federal courts, and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, in connection with litigation arising from real estate, employment, intellectual property and other commercial disputes.
