Barnes & Thornburg has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of Chicago’s 25 largest law firms and for having the largest percentage growth in local attorneys in 2020. The firm jumped six places this year to No. 25 on the list of Chicago’s largest law firms, from No. 31 in 2019.
The Chicago office has experienced a surge in new attorneys over the last several years spurred by its aggressive lateral recruitment strategy, including its addition of 11 from July 2019 to July 2020. In total, the full-service firm now has 113 attorneys in Chicago, part of a team of more than 700 legal professionals in markets throughout the U.S.
