Steve counsels and advises media organizations on media law issues, including rights of access and litigation avoidance. He represents media organizations in litigation involving the First Amendment, defamation, protection of news sources, rights of privacy and publicity, and copyright and trademark enforcement. Steve also defends attorneys and other professionals against claims of negligence or misconduct. He likewise represents alcoholic beverage-related concerns in litigation involving the 21st Amendment.
A persuasive litigator and registered civil mediator, Steve is appreciated for his cogent arguments and well-crafted litigation strategy.
