Two Barnes & Thornburg Attorneys Honored as Leaders In Law by The Indiana Lawyer

INDIANAPOLIS – Two Barnes & Thornburg LLP attorneys have been selected by The Indiana Lawyer as recipients of a 2014 Leadership in Law Award. Firm Managing Partner Alan Levin was honored with the “Distinguished Barrister” award, while associate attorney Rubin Pusha received the “Up and Coming Lawyer” award.

Levin is one of 15 lawyers in Indiana to receive the “Distinguished Barrister” award, which honors veteran lawyers who have made an impact in the state. He has served as the firm managing partner for the last 16 years and is known as one of the state’s leading employee benefits attorneys.

Pusha, an associate in the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg, is one of 15 attorneys to receive the “Up and Coming Lawyer” award for his legal achievements, and professional and community involvement. A member of the firm’s finance, insolvency and restructuring department, Pusha is deeply involved in helping to increase diversity in the legal community.

The Indiana Lawyer established the Leadership in Law awards in 2006 as a way to honor outstanding lawyers who have shown a commitment to their peers, clients and the Indiana legal community.
