World Education Congress of Meeting Professionals International

Laura Seng of the South Bend office spoke at the World Education Congress of Meeting Professionals International in Minneapolis on Aug. 5. This national conference was attended by meeting planners and healthcare industry representatives working with pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. Laura's presentation, "Can I Go to Jail? - Compliance with the Physician Sunshine Act and Other Fun Laws", provided information and practical tips on compliance with the Physician Sunshine Act, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute for device manufacturers and meeting professionals who are charged with tracking physician educational events, gifts, meals and travel.
