On Nov. 11, Deb Thorne of the Chicago office spoke at the annual American Bankruptcy Institute Consumer Conference held at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center. She moderated a panel entitled, "The Ethics of Social Media: How to Avoid Acting Like a Tweet - and Other Good Advice Your Mother Did Not Teach You." One panelist was Jerry Larkin of the Illinois Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission. Consumer lawyers from throughout Illinois attended the event.
