OVERVIEW

Glenn Killoren advised on the full array of business and corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, succession and tax planning and commercial real estate matters. Former regional leader of the firm’s Corporate Department, he frequently served as outside general counsel to privately held companies.

Direct, efficient and aligned with each client’s specific needs, Glenn’s no-nonsense approach to providing business-friendly legal advice and personal commitment to outstanding client service is manifest in his proven ability to guide businesses through the challenges they face. For decades, clients turned to Glenn for transactional counsel in a variety of matters involving a diverse cross section of industries. He represented local, regional, national and international businesses in virtually all areas of corporate law, acting, on many occasions, as their general legal adviser.

Since Glenn served as a trusted business and legal counselor to many middle-market and emerging companies, he was regularly involved in forming corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, structuring joint ventures, planning corporate reorganizations, counseling on personnel issues, and negotiating and drafting buy-sell, shareholder, licensing and financing agreements.

Glenn delivered important insight into guiding family-owned businesses. He successfully negotiated and closed buy/sell agreements, developed succession plans, stock transfers and structured exit strategies — providing a comprehensive approach to representing and preserving the company today and for future generations.

Notably, Glenn delivered considerable focus in the recreational vehicle industry, counselling RV manufacturers on a variety of issues, including dealer financing, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, warranty claims and product liability. Namely, he served as outside general counsel for Airxcel, whose products include air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, cooking appliances and ventilation systems for recreation vehicles, as well as climate control equipment for telecommunication shelters, schools and industrial/commercial markets. He also represented suppliers and has led dozens of successful sales of companies, ranging from $1 million to significantly more than $500 million

Glenn previously acted as assistant general counsel for Centerplate (a Sodexo division), a company that brings world-class guest experiences to the country’s top stadiums, arenas, convention centers, performing arts centers, zoos, aquariums, amusement parks and more.
