Boston – Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has named Barnes & Thornburg partner Robyn Maguire to its 2022 “Top Women of Law” list. A profile on Maguire will appear in the publication’s November edition and the honorees will be featured at an event in November. The list recognizes “the achievements of exceptional women lawyers who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers and role models.”
Maguire was selected for her work across the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors representing companies in product liability lawsuits alleging negligence, failure-to-warn, strict liability design, manufacturing defect, and wrongful death claims. A skilled attorney with close to two decades of experience, she focuses her practice on complex civil disputes, as well as real estate and land use litigation.
In addition, Maguire is actively involved in pro bono, civic and charitable initiatives. She has represented indigent clients in housing, asylum and other matters, and submitted amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on matters involving immigration and employment discrimination.
