Joel Bowers of the South Bend office presented, "Environmental Risk in the Context of Financing Acquisition of Property," to 1st Source Bank and Old National Bank. In each of the presentations, Joel's primary focus was on giving the lenders the ammunition needed to explain to borrowers why new Phase Is are necessary to establish defenses to liability for pre-existing contamination in purchase money transactions.
