Associates Join Barnes & Thornburg in Atlanta, Washington, D.C.

ATLANTA – Barnes & Thornburg LLP announced today that Abby A. Vineyard and Clinton K. Yu have joined the firm as associates.

Vineyard is an associate in the Litigation Department in the Atlanta office. With experience in a wide range of litigation matters, Vineyard concentrates her practice on insurance coverage litigation on behalf of policyholders in various industries. She also handles commercial litigation matters.

Vineyard earned her J.D., cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law, where she served on the Law Review Editorial Board and the Advocacy Council Editorial Board. She was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society for scholastic achievement and school involvement. Vineyard earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.

Yu is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and the International Trade and Federal Procurement practice groups. He focuses his practice on customs and import compliance, export controls, and economic sanctions. He has experience in the energy, food and agriculture, electronics, and apparel industries, among others.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Yu practiced customs and international trade law as an associate at a boutique law firm in Houston, Texas.

Yu earned his bachelor’s degree in Plan II Honors and Government from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. In law school, he was an articles editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy and a member of the Moot Court Competition Team.
