New Economy New Rules: National STEM Mentoring Movement Lands in Indianapolis
Six months ago, President Obama announced that Indianapolis was one of just seven cities selected to receive funding and resources to launch a STEM mentoring program as part of the US2020 City Competition.
The TechPoint Foundation for Youth stepped up to serve as project manager with a guiding coalition of 40 founding partners. The US2020 plan is specifically focused on increasing STEM opportunities and STEM excitement for girls, underrepresented minorities, and children from low-income families.
Join us Dec. 5 for an update from some of the US2020 partners and an important discussion about the next phases of the program, especially how you and your company can get involved.
