Stignani Appointed by Mayor to Minneapolis Commission for Civil Rights

Mark Stignani has been appointed by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey to serve as a member of the Minneapolis Commission for Civil Rights. Mark will serve a multiyear term on the commission, ending in 2022. 

The commission implements the city's civil rights policies through public information and education as stated in the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances. The primary objective of the commission is to promote and protect the civil rights of the people of Minneapolis.

All of its members are appointed either by the mayor or the Minneapolis City Council. 

Stignani is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he earned a B.S. in robotics and artificial intelligence systems. He earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.
