On Oct. 1, Jim Leonard of the Atlanta office, Scott Godes of the Washington, D.C., office, and Carrie Raver of the Fort Wayne office traveled to Dallas to present a CLE program to the law department of client MedAssets. Scott and Carrie presented on cyber risk and insurance while Jim presented on recovering under legacy policies. Jim has been MedAssets' coverage lawyer for many years. After the program, the general counsel for MedAssets asked Scott and Carrie to assist them with cyber insurance issues related to their upcoming insurance renewal. The deputy general counsel in charge of litigation asked to speak with Jim about defending a recently filed litigation matter in Atlanta. The law department uniformly praised the group on the practical advice provided and how relevant it was for their daily work.
